After an all white effort for the 08/09 season, Manchester United have completely changed their away shirt to a mainly black design. United will hope that the new shirt will be worn during a  record 4th consecutive Premiership title along with success in Europe and the other domestic cup competitions.

The new Manchester United away shirt for the 2009/10 season is predominately black with a blue V that runs from both shoulders towards the centre of the torso along with a black round neck collar. Manufacturers Nike place their white “tick” logo inside the blue V in the top right of the shirt. The club badge is also positioned inside the blue V but is situated in the top left. Sponsors “AIG” place their usual large white logo across the middle of the shirt.
